Our adherence to high national as well as international EN, UL and CSA standards facilitates access to international markets. Underwriters Laboratories LLC (UL) enables certified foreign products access to the US American and Canadian markets without any further import or usage restrictions

Low Voltage Directive

The European Union and European Council Directive no. 2014/35/EU on the harmonisation of the laws of Member States relating to electrical equipment designed for use within certain voltage limits is the most important regulation for the safety of electrically powered devices alongside the EMC Directive.

 

EMC Directive

The EMC Directive no. 2014/30/EU is a European Union regulation on the electromagnetic compatibility of electrical and electronic products. In general terms, the EMC Directive aims to avoid electromagnetic interference between devices.

IEC standarts

The many different kinds of wound components are manufactured and tested in accordance with European Standard EN 61558 – Safety of transformers, reactors, power supply units and similar products.

Bächli AG is ISO 9001:2015-certified. Certification is undertaken regularly by the Swiss Institute. Design, production and trading of transformers, reactors and assembly groups.

Our certifications help you get to market more quickly and safely, and can save you considerable costs during the system approval process for your products. Our wound components are certified according to UL 5085/CSA 22 standards.
